Lawn Bowls 101

Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This course, a collaboration between Selwyn Community Education and Kohimarama Bowling Club, runs over three Sunday mornings 10 AM - 12 PM at the Kohimarama Bowling Club. Starts 4 October 2020.

Learn the basics of lawn bowls, the strategic, challenging and fun sport for all ages. Enjoy three two-hour sessions with skills overview and on-the-green instruction from nationally accredited coaches and short games with a more experienced bowler to help and guide you. At the completion of the course, you will have the skills to start bowling as a sport.

Who should attend? Those who've never played and would like to have a go. No experience necessary. Minimum age 12 years. Bowls is a fully accessible sport.

What should I bring? All equipment provided. Just wear flat shoes.
