Zero Waste my Pantry! How to make easy snacks, treats and staples from unpackaged ingredients.

Keen to reduce waste, aiming for a zero waste lifestyle? But not sure where to start? Come along to hear about The Rubbish Trip - Hannah Blumhardt and Liam Prince’s journey to becoming waste free!

They will tell you how they did it and give you loads of handy hints along the way.

The Rubbish Trip is a zero waste roadshow offering presentations and workshops to community groups and schools across New Zealand about how and why individuals can reduce their waste footprint. Their presentations are informative (they don’t pull any punches), but also hopeful, based on their own experience of living, since the beginning of 2015, without a bin. They have a can-do attitude to reducing rubbish and want to show people how easy, fun and fulfilling waste reduction can be!

This is the fourth in a six-part lecture and discussion series that aims to engage and enable the community to make everyday lifestyle choices to save money and have a healthier life and planet.

Over the course of the series, speakers will address a number of different sustainability issues, such as recycling, transport, clean seas and beaches, and sustainable food options.

Cost: $10 for the series to cover costs and offer a Koha to speakers
