March Meeting - Turning a Passion Into a Business

Denise is passionate about Africa, particularly Kenya where she and her hubby have founded 2 primary schools.

In late 2016 she founded Helping Hand African Tours & Safaris – born on a whim – from her strong desire to show off the real authentic, grass roots Africa that she had been experiencing, and so loved. Since her first tour in early 2017, Denise has taken over 100 extremely happy, satisfied travellers on life-changing African adventures, and has recently branched out into other East African countries of Uganda and Tanzania, each offering fabulous unique authentic real African adventures.

Denise describes herself as a lover of life, passionate, extremely impulsive, a creative dreamer and a do’er! She’s definitely not a pre-planner! When a door opens – she’s through it!
