Martha has moved north to Mangawhai but is a regular guest performer in Auckland and venues around the country. Her solo live performances are an opportunity for her to share her stories in song with strong clear vocals and a rhythmic instrumental style. Whether it is flat pick or finger pick, open tunings, guitar or dulcimer the words and music come from the heart.
She will be playing a dulcimer and guitar made by good friend and luthier Peter Madill. There will be love songs, un-love songs, instrumentals, some country flavour, her originals and favourite covers. Songs which celebrate family, social comment and chocolate.
An open mic for musician/performers will continue after Martha Louise's concert - one song each please.
