Matamata Historical Society Annual Book Fair

Matamata Historical Society annual fundraising book fair. The Matamata Historical Society is the local charity which stores records of people and events throughout the area. The Society celebrated 50 years of operation last year and has a dedicated group of members and volunteers. The displays in the Firth Tower Museum are all put together by the Society and over the 50 years, many years have been donated by the dedicated volunteers who come to the site every week to keep the displays in good order and create new spaces for other displays.

The dedicated book fair ladies are here every week and collect books from donors when they are not. It is a great fundraiser for the Society every year which helps with the running of the Historical Society.
