What makes a good host? Turns out, it's really bloody simple. Come to this comprehensive two hour workshop to learn the basic rules, tips and tricks to keep any event ticking over smoothly. We'll cover warm-ups, hecklers, mic tips, introductions, joke construction, how to hold attention through the boring bits and how to use the power of suggestion like a boss.

This workshop is exclusive to Hugo's patreon, for the absolutely bargain price of $40 for two, two hour long workshops! This and Drag 101 Workshop with Hugo Grrrl (Online!). Simply click through to patreon, subscribe to $40 tier, stay for as long as you need access to the videos, and unsubscribe when you're done! These workshops will be broadcast live to patreon through the crowdcast app. You will be able to watch the courses after the live stream is done, but if you'd like to interact, ask questions or generally get 'the full experience', we'll see you for the livestream!

Praise for the courses:
"I have been running cabaret events for over 10 years and I learned tons in this workshop." - Rachel Rouge

"I would like to take a moment to say how blown away I was. I went into both of these workshops with very high expectations. What Hugo delivered was far beyond anything I could have prepared myself for. The professionalism and personal connection during both workshops was phenomenal ... after two short sessions with Hugo Grrrl, I feel far more confident and prepared than ever before ... If you ever have a chance to attend a workshop run by this fabulous master: PLEASE, TAKE IT. I am overjoyed with the mental equipping I was given, and am ready to push myself forward and up in the world." - Ben Munt
