Meridian Hard Labour - Hard Labourer

Hard Labourers take part in all three events. By registering as a Hard Labourer, competitors will automatically get entered into each separate event. You don’t have to be a hard out competitor to enter all three events. Give it a go just for the experience.

We reserve some of our best spot prizes (scenic flights and accommodation) just for the Hard Labourers and you will get a cool event tee shirt as part of your entry fee. See the separate events for details on courses, rules, safety and prize-giving.

The Sea to Summit Team Hard Labour event brings everybody together, whether it be work mates, school mates or just good mates.

We have 3 categories

Men, Ladies, Mixed (at least 1 female)

Each team member will complete in any one of the three main events (20km kayak, 40km mountain bike, 21km run).

Hard Labourers can do the kayak section only for a team and it will count towards team time. Team members are allowed to enter the other events to vocally/morally support their team member (with no physical support)
