Practice ballet from the comfort of your own home in a supportive and inspiring mixed level class with award-winning dancer and choreographer Merenia Gray.
Beginners and advanced dancers are welcome as Merenia will tailor traditional ballet exercises, barre, centre work and dynamic movement combinations for different skill levels.
Improve your fitness and flexibility and have a lot of fun as you connect with other dancers via Zoom.
You can book individually or for the 4-week block.
With more than 30 years of extensive national and international dance experience on stage and behind the scenes, tutor Merenia Gray is an award-winning dancer and choreographer who has performed with Taiao Dance Theatre, Footnote Dance Company, Auckland Dance Company, Artgenossen in Munich and Upper Cut Danse Teatre in Copenhagen. Her choreographic works include Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Song and Dance, Māui–One Man against the Gods, The Montana World of Wearable Arts, Entangled for the Royal New Zealand Ballet and numerous works for Footnote Dance Company and her own company, Merenia Gray Dance Theater, (MGDT). Merenia has taught dance in education in primary and secondary schools throughout New Zealand. She is a registered grants assessor for Auckland Council and Creative New Zealand.
