Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.
This workshop, new to our programme in 2020, will run 10 AM - 1 PM on Saturday 28 March 2020.
In this three hour workshop, you'll spend approximately an hour at Mission Bay for a photowalk, capturing images with your mobile phone. Afterwards, you'll return to Selwyn College for a session learning to use Snapseed, a mobile photography editing application.
Who should attend?
Those looking to improve the quality of photos taken on their mobile phones and learn to edit these for uses such as Facebook or Instagram. Students should already be familiar with the operation of their phones, and need to download the Snapseed app to their phone before the course. Snapseed is free to download and versions are available for both iOS and Android phones.
What to bring:
Your mobile phone with fully charged battery and space for lots of new photos. Ensure your phone has the Snapseed app downloaded. You can find this in the App Store.
Learning pathway:
For those confidently using their phones for mobile photography, Raj also teaches a Next Steps course teaching composition techniques, editing workflow with Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed.
Our mission is to provide quality adult and lifelong learning opportunities which empower individuals in their personal lives and as members of society.
