NZ Wheelchair Rugby Reconnect Event

NZ Wheelchair Rugby is running a fun-filled bash for all our players and volunteers to reconnect. 2020 has been a year of challenges with the season calendar having to be cancelled due to Covid 19.

This weekend will allow all attendees to, once again, enjoy a great weekend of wheelchair rugby. Players and Volunteer Officials travel from across NZ to attend this event.

Games begin on Saturday from 10 am, with Sundays last game at 2 pm. The 2 pm Sunday game has our High Performance players displaying their well-honed skills, speed and teamwork. These players have continued training at home and as a team, when Covid has allowed, in preparation for the chance to compete at the Tokyo Paralympics in August 2021.

This event is being run alongside Parafed Aucklands Have a Go day.
