Moulded from the same earth. The same but different. Separate but together.

A pop-up exhibition featuring sculptures made from found clay. These self-portraits showcase our differences, our common humanity and the diversity of voices that make up our community.

This exhibition is a collaboration between Artsenta and local artist, Scott Eady. Scott is a senior lecturer in art at the Dunedin School of Art at Otago Polytechnic. His recent work has taken on a collaborative and participatory nature.

Artsenta is an art studio that supports people using mental health services to be creative and to connect with the community. Operating for over 30 years, Artsenta is one of the most long-lived creative spaces in New Zealand.

The sculptures featured in this projected are gathered together on a shelving unit in the form of a giant head.
This performs the role of the art studio; a space to be filled (like Artsenta) with the portraits of many people who share an interest in being creative.

10am - 4pm Daily (Opening Thur 19 Mar, 2pm)
