One day Sand Casting Workshop

This is an amazing introduction to the technique of sand casting! Students will carve a ring from jewellers wax and learn to use the casting sand to create a mould, then melt and pour silver into it to make a wearable ring.

A fabulous introduction to the exciting art of low tech metal casting a single Saturday.
Beginners and more advanced students welcome.

Course fees include consumables but not your final metal costs. Students can expect to use $30 - $70 worth of silver, depending on the size and quantity of casts you choose to take home.
