Painting: Radical Rotorua Landscapes (For 8 to 12 Year Olds)

Join local artist and educator Maui Riley at The Arts Village for a fun day of arts education, play, learning, and inspiration.

In this workshop students will go outside and observe the local landscapes from Mt Ngongotaha to Lake Mokoia, learn about local myths and draw landscapes. Students will draw, and create watercolour paintings that celebrate our local land marks.

Our Holiday Arts Academy classes are specifically for 8 to 12 year olds, run with a 1:12 supervision ratio and priced at $30 per day including all materials.

Bring: Sunhat, packed lunch, and water bottle.
Note: This day will include a walking adventure offsite, children will be fully supervised.
