Everyone feels a little broken and vulnerable at times, and it’s good to know where to turn if you need help.

Representatives from local advocacy and support organisations join forces in a panel discussion to give you an idea of the work that’s happening here to enable people to make change and to manage immediate situations.

They will talk about the reality of life in Dunedin and the support their organisations offer.

Hear about the Red Cross’ refugee resettlement initiatives, Youthline’s support services for young people, Stopping Violence Dunedin’s programmes supporting whānau to build healthy relationships, Moana House’s therapeutic services for adult male offenders, and Life Matters’ advocacy and suicide prevention strategies.

These are the organisations at the coal face of hardship in our community. Come along and hear more about what they do, and how you can help those in need.

Koha - donations will be distributed to the panellists.
