What do people know about your business? What stories do you tell them – and which channels do you use to share them?
Although storytelling is a part of our lives, and a mechanism for connecting to each other, we sometimes forget that this inherently human skill is also key to building awareness of, and trust in, our brands and businesses.
But where to start?
In this informal, interactive session aimed at those new to PR, we’ll talk about the importance of stories and how to tell them, both through your own channels and via the media.
We’ll discuss what makes a good story, how to work out what’s relevant, and how to achieve value from the stories we share.
You’ll also learn how to place your stories externally – from the importance of structuring the pitch to dealing with the media.
You will leave with an understanding of how to identify good stories that can be told through a number of channels.
