Christchurch Indie artist Pretty Stooked hits Darkroom for his first headline show, backed by a full band and supported by Too Woke For Toast.

9 pm - Too Woke For Toast
10 pm - Pretty Stooked

'Pretty Stooked' is the new project from Christchurch based musician Eddie Kiesanowski. After finishing up with his last band 'Skelter', he has returned from Melbourne and is embarking on a new musical journey, bringing a fresh new style of alt-indie rock with music to be released early 2021. Backed by a band of brothers, Jayden Bowley (Kentucky Fried Children), Mitchell Bowley-Black (The Hootz), and his own brother Cullen Kiesanowski (nomad), 'Pretty Stooked' are an act not to be missed.

"Too Woke For Toas" are high tech, low life hipsters with an affliction of affection for affluent tastes; soya bean products; synthesis from 1980; without the bank accounts to match. They’re certified organic, orchestrators of the orgasmic, producers of woke sound and oat milk. After a rollicking start placing 2nd at Tunesoc’s 2019 Battle of the bands, they have since sold out a bunch of gigs, put their song ‘Sometimes’ on Spotify, and are now working towards releasing an EP.
