Pukapuka Talks: Kiss me or Kismet?

Join with us to celebrate the launch of the fourth issue of NMIT’s arts and literary journal, kiss me hardy.

kiss me hardy is a Nelson focused literary and arts journal that was initially developed to showcase the work of writers and artists studying at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology and expanded in 2018 to include submissions from other writing schools and tertiary institutions around Aotearoa New Zealand. At this event, we will be celebrating the launch of issue four, which for the first time focuses on a theme: ‘Home’. A selection of short stories, poems, essays and art will explore the meaning of home—is it a place, a person, a time, memories, emotions, a state of mind, a spiritual place, turangawaewae or a connection to tangata whenua?

Arrive at 5.30pm for a welcome drink and nibbles. Performances start at 6pm.

After the readings, please join us at Kismet Cocktail & Whisky Bar, 151 Hardy Street, Nelson for our celebratory after-party.
