Ras Judah and Culture Embassy

A six-piece NZ band of varying cultural backgrounds. The cultural diversity of the band is reflected in the sound of the music - a fusion of Afro-Folk, Reggae, Jazz, Latin and Kiwiana.

Ras Judah of Botswana on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, guitarist Luke Parker (Vogue Gyratory; Martha Tilston), Mikey D & Andy Hoy (Newtown Rocksteady), plus Cuban percussionist Rafael Ferrer Noel (Maferefún Yemayá; Calle Cuba) and saxophonist Garam Jung.
