Read'n'Chat is a monthly book group held at Napier and Taradale Libraries, everyone is welcome to come along, talk about books and learn more about the library.

The friendly library staff share titles they have enjoyed recently, and you are welcome to share your favourite books and authors too.

We can show you how to get the best use out of our cataogue and introduce you to other wonderful library services.

There’s no charge for Read'N'Chat, so come along, have a cuppa, and pick up a book to borrow.

Napier Libraries is a true community hub which supports learning, creativity and interaction with free programmes and activities designed for all ages. Enjoy a range of public events and clubs as well as free training as part of ‘Step Up’ Programmes.

Our dedicated children and young adults team take an active role in supporting our younger community by providing a range of group and one-on-one activities. These include baby bounce, reading programmes, book clubs, Lego and Minecraft clubs, as well as fun holiday activities.
