Reconnect is a photo exhibition showcasing the conservation efforts through social development in small islands of Indonesia. As the biggest archipelago country in the world with more than 17,000 islands, Indonesia surely gives the greatest challenge for sustainable development. The exhibition will show you the never-ending learning process of balancing environment needs and development.

There will be a discussion session on Saturday the 29th of February at 2 pm, featuring Rama, Gaya, and Nicole. Rama is part of the knowledge management team of SGP Indonesia, he will share the success and also failure stories from SGP Indonesia projects. Gaya Gnanalingam is an academics at the University of Otago who works on customary fishing rights in New Zealand.

She will talk about that for the discussion session. And Nicole Miller is the chair of Friends of Taputerangan Marine Reserve Trust, and she will share to us about Bluebelt project - a community-based seaweed restoration project in Wellington. It will an exciting discussion, so hope to have you there.
