Record Store Day is an annual international celebration of independent record stores. Real Groovy is the biggest, and one of the longest running, corporate-free record stores in New Zealand so we take great pride in showing that we are the real deal!
This year RSD is going to be spread over three days (triple the fun!). The first date is set for Saturday the 29th of August and we've got a wicked event lined up (just for you xx).
We are going to be open from 8AM TO 7PM, and we'll have free parking all day long (just come see a staff member to get a parking pass to chuck in your dash). As always, we are going to have *exclusive* releases as well as special 24 hour deals!
We've got a mountain of free chips coming atcha from our pals at Proper Crisps, and a fortress of ice cold Ch'i Drinks will be available for you too!
Our mates from Miso-ra are going to be dishing up the best ramen in NZ (but seriously THE BEST), and what better than to wash ramen down with a frothy brew from fresh beer champions and Auckland's raddest brewery, Urbanaut Brewing Co!
And to chuck the cherry on top we are going to have in-store performances from some of Tamaki Makaurau's finest....
