Salsa and Bachata Dancing for Beginners

Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This introductory level course runs on over six weeks Wednesday evenings 6:15pm - 7:15pm starting 19 February 2020. A repeat course is available starting Wednesday 5 August 7:30 - 8:30 PM.

Bring your dance partner and experience an introduction to salsa dancing: enjoy the rhythm of these Latin dances. Learn some easy moves and impress on the dance floor!

Covered in this six-week class:
- Salsa - basic, side break, back break, open break, lady inside left turn, cross body lead, right and left turns and more
- Bachata - side basic, half broken right turn, forward and back basic hammerlock, mans and ladies turn
- Merengue - basic
- Cha Cha Cha - side basic
- Salsa and Bachata - enjoy and develop dance sequences

Course fee $130 per couple. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes for dancing - no high or sharp heels.
