Original hand-coloured aerial photographs produced by the Whites Aviation company from the early 1950's.

On loan from a private collection, or part of our own Museum collection, these stunning images were originally created to showcase New Zealand landscapes, but have since become icons of New Zealand's mid-century culture.

Taupo Museum is open 7 days from 10am to 4:30pm and entry is free to Taupo District residents with proof of address. Children 0 -18 Free, Students $3, Seniors $3, Adults $5.
