A Resilient mix of Genres
Rata Studios is offering the opportunity to work on, experience and investigate a mix of genres in this one week Acting Course.
Our theme is ‘a Resilient Mix of Genre, basically be bold…. but what does it mean to be bold?
Someone who is bold is daring and brave, someone who is bold is resilient.
We will use both contemporary and classical texts as well as improvisation, devising and storytelling; and if you would like to sing there will be the freedom to do so….and of course don’t forget the costumes!!
You will decide various genres…Action, Comedy, Horror, Romance, Musical, Sci-Fi etc…!
Through this course you’ll gain a broad experience in the skills required to deliver a convincing performance, furthermore, an opportunity to tell a story as a collaborative process.
Adaption of texts, together with students’ original ideas will emerge a performance of mixed genres that will be acted out on Friday afternoon.
