Womens Self Defence Introductory Class

Self-defence is different than traditional martial arts in that you only learn practical skills for self-defence, rather than other areas of traditional martial arts, such as cultivating ones spirit, martial arts techniques and traditional forms. The focus is to quickly gain skills to manage dangerous situations, and not just physical skills, but also mental reactions to deal with complicated situations. This introductory class is for a basic level, so you do not need any previous knowledge to come and we will help you to learn more in the case that you take the 4 class course. The class will teach the students how to turn, punch, kick, block, dislocation techniques, meditation to calm the mind, and the most important thing - to be confident. Of course in a basic way, as this class is just 2.15 hours.

About the teacher:
Hernan Rojas Nazar is from Chile and has 18 years of martial arts experience. He has studied under a number of teachers, but particularly loves Shaolin Kung Fu.
