Silo Cinema Pride Edition: Rocketman

Queer AF and Silo Park are very excited to announce the Pride edition of Auckland’s only LGBT+ focused night market & free outdoor cinema!

The Queers and Wares markets will run from 5pm at Silo Park with an array of stalls selling earrings, crafts, prints, photography, candles, zines, clothing and more as well as a special live performance by Coven before the Silo Cinema screening of Rocketman at 9pm.

Additionally, there will be information booths on lgbt+ centred issues, a pop-up hairdresser/barber on-site, a tattoo artist, DJ’s and so much more! Come join us before Silo Cinema and take a browse at the amazing items hand made with love just for you.

Rocketman is an epic musical fantasy about the incredible human story of Elton John’s breakthrough years. The film follows the fantastical journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar Elton John.

Rating M - Sex Scenes, offensive language, drug use

Make sure you bring something comfy to sit on and a blanket to keep warm as the night gets chilly.

Event starts at 5.00pm with food and drinks. Movie screening starts at 9.00pm.
