Spring Clean - Volunteer Event

This event is part of Conservation Week 2020 - www.conservationweek.org.nz (external site)

This is a great chance for you and your family to enjoy Maungatautari while contributing to the conservation efforts. We have many dedicated and passionate volunteers and this is your chance to join them for a day and help us out! Tasks for the day include:

- Trim back out vegetation on main walking tracks
- Free up grass around planting to Southern Enclosure access gate
- Clean up aviary (Water blasting, Fire break trimming)
- Clean up clearing
- Wash signs
- Rack and metal walk ways
- Clean bridges
- New anti-slip mesh on bridges
- Track cutting monitoring lines within the Southern Enclosure
- Clean up around VC grounds
