Studio One Toi Tū is temporarily closed from Tuesday 24 March in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. All events, exhibitions and courses are cancelled until further notice.
In line with the government’s announcement today, Auckland Council has temporarily closed all arts, community and event venues from 5pm, Monday 23 March. This applies to all community centres, arts facilities, community galleries, theatres and venues for hire (unless required to support the government’s response to COVID-19). Using charcoal as the main medium you will experiment with a range of drawing processes to explore this medium's limitless possibilities. Through a series of exercises, you will then learn how to introduce other media to the charcoal. Be guided from A to Z and discover the beauty of charcoal!
