Sunday Jazz - The Sam MacKenzie Quartet: CANCELLED

The Rogue's regular Sunday afternoon jazz. Funky, jazzy, soulful jazz. Pizza, beer, jazz, on a Sunday perfect!

This week featuring local drummer Sam MacKenzie and his quartet.

The Sam MacKenzie Quartet will be playing arrangements of standard American Songbook and bebop repertoire as well as compositions from artists/groups such as Gerald Clayton, Ambrose Akinmusire, Immanuel Wilkins and Joel Ross. The group endeavour to pay homage to the great jazz tradition whilst exploring and seeking new ways of playing this music.
