The Swanson Market is held on the first Sunday of each month (excluding January) and has become an important regular event in Swanson. It’s run by a small group of community volunteers. The Market is a car boot sale (second-hand goods in the main). No food stalls allowed i.e. cooked on-site. Please support our fundraising sausage sizzle held for the first couple of hours and our wonderful cafe, which has delicious coffee and food.
Here's how it works.
- No bookings but it pays to be in and set up by 7 am especially if the weather is fine
- You sell out of the back of your car or if you wish, you can set up a small collapsible table at the rear of your car
- Cost is $5 per car park space, which is collected from you during the morning.
For more information please text Sharon on 0274 989 597.
Note: Funds support the upkeep of our old heritage railway station building and supporting other great local community initiatives in the Swanson community.
