Join the Ballet School Dropouts in their fundraiser for Sweat with Pride!
Corps de Burlesque is hosting a special edition Burlesque Happy Hour class to help raise much needed funds for Aotearoa's rainbow communities. Join us for a Sunday afternoon of shimmying, shaking, bumping and grinding fun! Wear your best and brightest workout gear and some heels if you have them. The class is $20 per person and 100% of the cash will be donated.
Corps de Burlesque co-founder Trillian and fellow performer Nat Hugill aka Lilly Loca from Auckland have teamed up to raise money together as team Glistening Showgirls.
Everyday life is still much too hard for Aotearoa's Rainbow communities. Stigma and discrimination lead to much higher rates of mental illness and suicide. And then there are the physical illnesses - STIs like syphilis and HIV disproportionately affect our community. I'm taking a stand by Sweating for 21 minutes a day this August to help fund projects that improve the mental and physical health of Rainbow New Zealanders. Sponsor me today - just $50 would make a huge difference. 100% of the money will go to the New Zealand AIDS Foundation and fund projects in partnership with Rainbow Youth.
