Taupo Swamp - Weeding Days

Help needed!

All the trees and plants that you helped us plant last year are settling in nicely but we have a massive problem with the weeds down at the Taupo Swamp wetlands. We need your help so the autumn rains can bring on new growth of 1,100 plants. Community planting days are planned as follows between 9am-12pm February 12th & 26th, March 11 & 25, April 8. We can supply gloves and some gardening gear, if you are able to give us an hour or so on any of those days wet or fine. Bring a bottle of water. Morning tea provided.

This year's new planting is well into the planning process and we hope this will get underway in May. More details coming soon!
