Teachers Evening: POSTPONED

We warmly invite all educators to an evening of networking and nibbles! A casual event where you can network with teachers and educators from Wellington's education scene, learn about what resources are available, and have a look around Capital E’s Digital Studios.

Educators from Capital E, He Tohu and Parliamentary Services will discuss their ideas on studying politics and ‘making your mark’ with your class. Children and young people have always had intelligent and articulate ideas to share, and with modern technology and global platforms readily available, the power of the youth voice has taken centre stage. The likes of Greta Thunberg and Malala Yousafzai have been able to spread their messages far and wide! The world is taking note, with young people organising mass protests and being invited as experts to international events.

With the New Zealand General Election also happening this year, we know these will be hot topics for you and your students!
