Do you have elusive ancestors? Join us at this HeritageTalks and learn how Peter Krafft solved the mystery of Ellen Louisa Taylor.

Although Ellen’s family, the Taylors, were involved in horse racing in Otahuhu and Ellerslie during the latter half of the 19th century, several members of the family proved more elusive than others to find - and Ellen Louisa was the most difficult of the lot. Hear how Peter finally solved this family history mystery.

Peter Krafft
Peter Krafft originally trained as a Brewer and is a retired Quality Assurance Manager for an international brewing company. He is skilled at problem-solving and never believes that one document is enough when tracing ancestors - with some justification. He is a Team Leader at the NZ Society of Genealogists' Research Centre in Panmure and is always happy to talk about either beer or genealogy - sometimes both at the same time.
