For 30 years in its current format The Original Gypsy Fair has been travelling NZ and we will be back in Invercargill At the Gala street Reserve for our 28th fair of the 2019/2020 season.
Bigger, Brighter, Better. The Original Gypsy Fair has had some positive changes whilst maintaining its charm that it is well known for. A fun filled day for the whole family with something for everyone, and entry is free! As always we will be bringing you an expansive range of handmade products, some of which will be made before your eyes.
Watch our glassblower skilfully craft molten glass into works of art. Grab yourself a unique piece of jewellery and other items made from silverware.
There’s also a gorgeous array of items lovingly made from beads. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, sun catchers, spiders, just to name a few. An expansive range of clothing and accessories are available, tie dye, boho, hats, bags, wall hangings and more.

Circus toys, Hula hoop, juggling, fire poi, comic art, face painting, airbrush tattoos, a unique obstacle bounce and new this year, challenge your mates on the gladiator. Test out your skills on the hover boards. Shoot for prizes or shoot for fun at the Shooting Gallery.
Crystals, raw, polished, beautiful. Soaps, oils, fragrances, incense. Readings by Sirian along with Adriels beautiful mystical art. You will be spoilt for choice with food, Hot chips, Café, mini doughnuts, American Hotdogs, Candyfloss, sweets and addictive homemade Fudge.
This season we have a brand new stage manager, bringing with her a fresh new sound. An amazing lady with an amazing voice. Spend time in our village green soaking up the sounds and playing on ye old playstation toys.
The Original Gypsy Fair is NZ’s longest running fair and has an eclectic range of mobile homes which you can admire as you walk among the stalls.
