Ōtorohanga Children's Day and Cycle Path/Youth Zone Opening

We have combined the Ōtorohanga Children's Day with the opening of the Project Kiwiana Playground Cycle Path and Youth Zone at the Jim Barker Memorial Playground.

Come along for a day celebrating our community's awesome Tamariki. Feel free to bring a picnic along with your togs, towel, sunscreen and sense of adventure. Bring your bike and try out the new cycle path. There will be a free sausage sizzle, ice blocks, games and many more activities. Over the next fortnight we will post the activities we have on here.

This is only possible thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers. We are always in need of more sponsorship to enable these events to be free. We are also on the lookout for more volunteers, so if you can spare an hour or two of your time to help supervise on the day please contact us through this page.
