UFBA Firefighter Waterway Challenge

The United Fire Brigades' Association (UFBA) is NZ's oldest association and not for profit supporting the interests of firefighters of all kinds across New Zealand.

The Waterway Challenge has been an enduring UFBA tradition since it was first introduced back in 1885. It's an opportunity to put hose-running and pump-operating skills to the test in a fun and competitive environment.

Spectators are welcome to come along and cheer on teams of community firefighters as they compete in essential skills used to fight fires.
