One of the South Island’s largest and most anticipated events – the Wanaka Show – is back for 2020 with a jam-packed entertainment line-up plus captivating displays, events and more than 500 food and trade stalls from all around New Zealand.

Held March 13-14 at the picturesque Wanaka Showgrounds, the Wanaka Show attracts more than 40,000 people each year for two days of family fun. This year’s unmissable acts include children’s entertainer and Dancing With The Stars favourite Suzy Cato, the NZ Army Band and singing sisters Jenny and Nicola Mitchell.

The 83rd Wanaka Show celebrates modern diversity and innovation in farming, while traditional Show drawcards including the Kids’ Play Zone, classic carnival rides, live cooking demonstrations in the Life & Style marquee, wood chopping competitions and the world-famous Jack Russell race make a return for 2020.

Where town meets country, the Wanaka Show is the South Island’s premier lifestyle event. Gates open 8am-5.30pm on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wanakashow.co.nz or at the gate for $17.50 per adult and $5 per youth (13-17 years) per day. Children aged 12 and under are free.
