Air Chathams fabulous 1945 Douglas DC-3, is coming back to Whanganui for Vintage Weekend 2020! But this time, ladies and gentlemen, she will be returning in the original NAC (National Airways Corporation) livery having just undergone a repaint in recognition of its long and extensive New Zealand history. Locals, families, visitors and aviation enthusiasts can have the experience of a lifetime with a scenic flight over Whanganui during the Whanganui Vintage Weekend held over the Wellington Anniversary Weekend (18 and 19 January 2020).
