In this hands on class we will explore the basics of wine and food matching at home. Sommelier Jules van Costello will show you how to seamlessly integrate wine into a culinary experience and will look at six classic kiwi and international wine styles from blue-chip producers. We will pair the wines with food prepared by our chef (dishes TBA but it will be delicious!)

Jules van Costello is the wine director of Te Aro Wine and Cult Wine. He is a sommelier with 15 years experience at acclaimed restaurants like Terroir at Craggy Range, Citron and Riverstone Kitchen. He is a partner in the Sidney George Hospitality Group, owners of Hillside Kitchen, Tinakori Bistro and The Ramen Shop.
