XTERRA Wellington embraces the rugged coastal landscape that is Kāpiti, in the heart of Wellington, New Zealand. No glitz nor glamour, just hard New Zealand terrain, spectacular views and proper home grown hospitality. XTERRA Wellington links the beach to the mountains in a uniquely west coast way. Set 50km from Wellington, on a good day this course is harmless and fragile ready to be taken apart... however, underestimate her at your peril.

Mountain bike ride with 800 meters of climbing, a great mix of gravel and single track and a course that will thrill you just as much as make those legs burn. All this complimented with a group of runs that will inspire but could just break you with the wrong wind.

You see? Something for everyone, from our Super 6km Fun Run, Whareroa Half Marathon to our full XTERRA Coastal Triathlon. All of this followed by a celebration that includes live music, drink, food and stories into the night.
