Absolute Beginner's Tango and Practica

If you can walk you can Tango! All welcome to learn this exotic dance from Argentina. The first four weeks of your Absolute Beginners' Course will take you through the fundamentals of partner dance - balance and centring, connecting with your partner, moving through basic walking, side and rock steps, completing with basic Tango figures to build a dance sequence. Held in a warm, bright and welcoming space in Central Timaru. Casual individual rate is $15 for the class (4-5 pm) and $5 for the practica that follows (5-6 pm), (a chance to have a cuppa, and practice what you have learned during the class). Pay for the full 4 weeks, $60, and get your practicas for free each week! After completion of your Absolute Beginners' course, you will have the opportunity to continue learning more advanced techniques and figures.
