Celebrating NZ

In this Waitangi Day celebration of NZ music we welcome Anna Leese to the Festival to sing the touching and fascinating arrangements by Jack Body of some old favourites. These are followed by the NZ premiere of David Taylor’s quintet with marimba, the live premiere of Louise Webster’s atmospheric new quartet finished during Lockdown in 2020, and to send you rocking out the door, Psathas’ riveting dance, Tarantismo.
