Love sucks, but that doesn’t mean your night has to.

Get a $50 tattoo with Caitlyn White, dance the night away to a live DJ set with Jamie Green, and find out your future from our fortune teller, strike a pose in the photo booth, watch out for the Love Police, and enjoy loads of live interactions around the Museum.

This is not your average night out. Held only three times a year, 'After Dark' is Dunedin's first 'Night in the Museum' event and has sold out every time! With some of Dunedin’s best food trucks on the Reserve, and a cash bar onsite, you’re bound to forget your heartbreaks of the past.

Sing like nobody’s listening (but they kind of might be) at karaoke in the planetarium. Perform your number under the stars and the Insta-worthy backdrops of the 360° dome screen ceiling, dissect a heart or put one back together.

Come and join the crowd, dance to some fun tunes, get some fresh ink, and be part of the best (un)Valentine’s event in Dunedin.

R18, ID will be checked at the door.

Tattoos additional, starting at $50, cash only. Tattoos given on a first come first served basis, and will not be given to people who have consumed alcohol.
