An evening of fun, frivolity, and entertainment. New Zealand singer/songwriter of mainly (but not exclusively) satirical original songs in a mainly (but not exclusively) 1940s swing genre. Whimsical songs that reflect mainstream culture with gentle irreverence, and playfully lampoon many of society’s obsessions and taboos. Delivery is wrapped in an easy-going and accessible 1940s-era ‘Hot Club’-style swing package, with occasional sallies into folk, blues and western swing; and London’s easy-going banter holds the show together with stories that draw the audience in and set up the songs.

Kirsten London accompanies as bass guitarist, backing vocalist and lyric prompt.

Doors open 7:00pm. Show starts 7:30pm.

Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits at break. A cash bar is available for wine and beer.

Come along on Friday August 13th for some great New Zealand music.
