Creative kids aged 5-12 years will enjoy playing with different art processes in these workshops, which are running from 10am-4pm in the school holidays.
Come along to one, some or all sessions. All materials supplied.
Meet in the foyer of City Gallery Wellington at 10am. Workshops are held in the Gallery's Education Studio.
Bring your own water bottle, packed lunch and a coat and hat.
Monday 12: Sun Catchers and Treasure Maps
Join us on this session where we'll be making colourful sun catchers, and fabulous old-timey treasure maps!
Tuesday 13: Painting process art
Come and make colourful artworks with great painting techniques that don't necessarily involve a brush!
Wednesday 14: Soft Toy making
Design and make a soft toy! From super easy to more advanced techniques, you'll be guided on how to make a cool little character to take home and snuggle.
Thursday 15: Dioramas
Ever wanted to make your own little world? Design and create one in this mixed media workshop, using craft supplies and natural materials that we'll find outside.
Bio:
Greta Menzies is an artist based in Pōneke, Wellington. Her work spans painting, drawing, video, ceramics and textiles, and she loves sharing art and craft processes with others in a playful and explorative mode.
