Art Trail Manawatū 2021

Art Trail Manawatū is your chance to see stunning artworks from dozens of local creatives. Come along, meet the artists, watch work being made, get a sneak peak into studios, or come in to one of our major hubs. Plan your art trail experience - book in coffee stops and bring along your friends. The event is free to attend and free for artists to participate. Square Edge aim to support the careers of our artists and to offer the public exciting opportunities to learn new skills, talk with makers, and make connections. This is our 5th regional art trail - each year new artists join and the weekend becomes richer and more diverse.

Square Edge Arts Centre is the Art Trail Manawatū 2021 starting point. Pick up your trail guidebook here and visit the 2021 ‘trail mix’ exhibition, showcasing works from each of the participating artists in one place. Works are available for purchase.

The ‘trail mix’ exhibition opens on October 8th – the Friday of the week before the art trail weekend – and will remain open for viewing until November 1st. All artists and supporters are welcome to attend the opening event at 5.30 pm.
