Auckland Handball Open Championships 2021

Welcome to the 2021 Auckland Handball Tournament.

Every year teams from all over New Zealand come to stunning Auckland to compete against each other on a 2 days handball tournament.

Family, friends and players of any sport are invited to watch the event. Come around and experience it yourself and get the chance to meet the best teams of New Zealand handball.

Female and male teams will be playing both days at the AUT SPORT & FITNESS CENTRES which is a short drive from Auckland CBD.

Auckland Handball Open Championships 2021
May 15th-16th, 2021 - AUT SPORT & FITNESS CENTRES, 90 Akoranga Dr, Northcote, Auckland

Sunday afternoon the winner of the tournament will be awarded the Auckland Regional Handball trophy.

Additional awards go to:
- MVP Men
- Top Scorer Men
- MVP Women
- Top Scorer Women

In the ceremony, Auckland Handball will also announce the All-Star team.

Food and drinks will be available at nearby cafes and shops. Snacks and drinks can be purchased in the gym.

The schedule and rules for the tournament will be announced soon.

Do you want to get involved and are looking for a fun activity besides the handball court? No worries. We are excited to announce our first collaboration with Hungerball. Just outside of the gym the Hungerball arena will be available for use by all ages and abilities.
