In celebration of Bee Aware Month, and our amazing friends the bees, we’d like to invite you to join us for a live educational talk with Comvita beekeeper Noelani Waters.
As part of this special session, she’ll be talking all things bee welfare, and what we can do at home to support and protect New Zealand’s bee population, particularly as we change seasons and come into spring.
RSVP on the Comvita New Zealand Facebook page today - and be sure to share the online event with your friends and family. If you have any questions for Noelani, please comment them in the Facebook event discussion thread!
About Noelani:
Originally from Hawaii, Noelani had her first experience with beekeeping while studying tropical agriculture in 2010 – and fell in love! After being involved in bee-breeding and apiary programmes for a number of years, Noelani relocated to New Zealand, and started working with Comvita on our queen bee breeding project.
Now, she’s the experiential host and resident beekeeper at the Comvita Wellness Lab in Auckland’s Viaduct, teaching Kiwis all about the wonderous world of the bees, and the critical work they do to keep our planet running.
