Be Transported By Helicopter to The Remote Boyd Airstrip Nestled In the Heart of The Kaimanawa Forest Park.

This 15 km hike weaves its way through the beautiful Oamaru Valley to the headwaters of the Mohaka River. Be prepared for an abundance of serenity, natural beauty and postcard-worthy photo opportunities.

Trip Length: Approx 9 Hours including a 5 to 6 Hour Hike
Minimum Age: 13 years
Maximum Participants: 19 (A minimum of 10 people is needed for this trip to proceed, otherwise booked people will be refunded)

Meeting Place: HeliSika, end of Taharua Rd, off SH5 at 7:15am

This is a backcountry grade 5 walk with several river crossings.
